GameBases uses essential cookies (session, security) without marketing consent because the service cannot be provided safely without them.
Before registration / without consent: persistent preference cookies (language, filters) are not set. You can still change language — it applies for the session (`GBSESSID`) only.
After Cookies consent at registration (and for existing accounts that already accepted the Terms): functional preference cookies (language, filters) may be set. Ads are shown to signed-in users only; the anonymous ad cookie `gb_avid` is not set.
Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, cart or checkout.

gb_avid is not set. Ad slot measurement for signed-in users uses account id.
The CSRF token is not a cookie; it is held in the server session.
Third parties for a feature: Stripe (payment), Google (OAuth / reCAPTCHA on login/registration). Their cookies follow their policies and activate when the feature is used.
