Terms of Use

1. Account, age and market

GameBases.gg is a community gaming platform. An account may be created worldwide from age 13.

A user aged 13–15 needs confirmation by a legal guardian before account activation. The user must provide a true date of birth and country. Google OAuth does not bypass age or acceptance of these terms.

The UI language does not change the customer country or purchase availability. As of this version, purchase of Stars and other paid digital features for EUR is enabled worldwide except for sanctioned / blocked customer countries configured by the operator. Physical merch for EUR and physical rewards for Golds are delivered only to countries on the physical fulfilment list (as of this version: SK and CZ). Individual contests and tournaments may have a narrower country list.

One person must not create accounts to circumvent a ban, contests, payment limits or moderation.

2. Account security

Protect login credentials and promptly report suspected misuse. You must not use another person's account or unlawfully allow another person to use yours.

3. Prohibited conduct

It is prohibited in particular to:

• publish unlawful content,
• threaten, harass, bully or discriminate,
• sexually exploit minors or distribute child sexual abuse material,
• publish a minor’s precise contact details or precise location,
• infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy or personality rights,
• impersonate another person,
• distribute malware, phishing, spam or fraud,
• interfere with the security, availability or data of the platform,
• unlawfully automate, scrape or circumvent technical limits,
• manipulate contests, results, Golds, Stars, payments or chargebacks,
• circumvent a ban or moderation decision.

• knowingly provide false information or labels required by the platform, including the AI labelling of content created or modified using AI, or remove or circumvent such labelling in a misleading way.

4. User content and licence

You are responsible for content you publish and must have the right to use it.

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free and territorially unlimited licence only to the extent needed to store, technically process, display, distribute within the platform, back up, secure and moderate the content.

The licence ends when content is removed, except technical backups, content retained by another communication participant and copies needed for a legal duty, moderation or legal dispute.

Ownership of your content does not transfer to us.

AI labelling of public content

When publishing publicly, the author must truthfully label the content if artificial intelligence (AI) created a substantial part of it or significantly modified its substance. This is a GameBases platform rule and may apply even where a particular author has no direct statutory duty under Article 50 of the AI Act.

The rule covers public text, image, audio and video, including public posts, articles, discussions, guides, comments, replies and profile as well as organisation content. It does not apply to private messages.

If AI created a substantial part of any language version or attachment, or significantly modified its substance, the whole publication must be labelled. If the author is unsure, they should label the content.

Ordinary spelling and grammar checks, formatting, compression, minor cropping, small colour corrections and similar technical edits that do not significantly change the substance do not require labelling.

The label is the author's declaration. GameBases does not automatically detect or verify AI use and does not claim to be able to recognise it infallibly. A public AI label does not mean the content is unlawful, false, dangerous or approved by GameBases.

Allstars Company s.r.o. applies the same transparency standard to its own public content on the platform. Corporate or administrator content has no automatic exemption.

Users must not knowingly circumvent AI labelling, state it falsely, or remove it in a way that misleads others.

5. Minors

Minors must not publish home address, phone, school, precise location, payment details or other data that may endanger them. Users must not publish a minor’s precise contact details or precise location.

Users must not induce minors to move communication off-platform, demand intimate content from them or misuse payments, Stars or rewards for inappropriate contact.

Safe default privacy settings and age-appropriate rules summarised in the moderation rules apply to minors. Suspicious behaviour may be reported via Report content.

6. Stars and Golds

Stars and Golds are distinct systems. Their acquisition, use, refunds and expiry are governed by specific rules and the Business Conditions.

Golds cannot be transferred between users. Stars may be sent as Support according to available features. Stars cannot be sold or transferred outside GameBases.

Stars cannot be used as an entry fee, stake, bet or to create a participant-funded prize pool. A tournament reward must be fixed and secured by the organizer or GameBases before registration opens.

7. Moderation

Content may be reported as a rules violation or allegedly illegal content. We assess reports objectively and proportionately.

According to severity we may restrict or remove content, warn the user, restrict a feature, freeze a disputed balance, temporarily suspend or terminate an account.

We provide the affected user with a reason and available appeal route unless law or safety prevents it.

Authorised staff may add or correct an AI label on public content where, based on available information, they can reasonably conclude that the current state is incorrect or misleading. Every such change must have a recorded reason. Staff must not arbitrarily remove a label by which the author themselves declared AI use; removal is allowed only if the label was added by mistake, after a proven error is established, or after a successful author objection. A label change alone is not automatically a sanction and is not a finding that the content is unlawful.

We inform the author of the change and its reason where the author can be identified and providing that information is not prohibited by law and would not seriously endanger safety, an investigation or the rights of others. The author may object to the correction via Workroom → My reports → Objection to AI label correction. An objection to an AI label must not be filed as a notice of illegal content.

For intentional or repeated breaches of the AI labelling rules we may apply existing proportionate measures under these Terms of Use and the moderation rules. If a measure restricts the availability or visibility of content, an account or monetisation, the existing rules on stating reasons and objections apply.

8. Ban and balances

A temporary ban may freeze Golds.

On a permanent ban we allow one last redemption of legitimately obtained Golds for 30 days from notice, except for fraudulently obtained or disputed Golds and cases where delivery is blocked by law or a serious security risk.

A ban does not automatically replace a refund, chargeback or settlement of an order.

9. Account deletion

Before deletion we display balances, open orders, complaints and consequences. Deletion requires double confirmation. On completion of voluntary deletion all unused Stars and Golds expire.

Open orders, complaints, refunds, chargebacks and statutory records and retention duties are not settled by silent expiry upon account deletion. Statutory records remain processed under the applicable rules.

10. Availability and liability

We may perform maintenance, security changes and reasonably change features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, but we do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Tournaments

Participation in user tournaments on GameBases is free. Stars cannot be used as an entry fee, stake, bet or to create a participant-funded prize pool. A tournament reward must be fixed and secured by the organizer or GameBases before registration opens.

Random pairing may only determine tournament bracket setup. Winner and rankings are decided by participant performance per pre-published rules.

12. Changes and law

We announce material changes and, according to their nature, request new acceptance. Governing law is the law of the Slovak Republic without depriving the user or consumer of mandatory protection in the country of their habitual residence.

The AI labelling rules for public content under section 4 of this version take effect on the effective date of this Terms of Use wording (the effective date will be stated when this version is published). Content published before that effective date may remain without an AI declaration. The duty to declare arises on new publication, republication, or a further edit for which the publishing interface requires a new declaration about AI use. No automatic retrospective audit or bulk backfill of legacy content is required.

Private messages involving an under-18 account are allowed only between mutually confirmed friends. A friend request is a separate step and does not grant messaging before acceptance. Sharing a tournament, team, organization, pickup, BAC, clan challenge, or public forum does not grant a private-message right; only the relevant group chat may be available according to permissions. We do not recommend minors to adults as new contacts. Blocking and content reporting are available to protect users.
